SBI could have the Tata Nano booking monopoly

State Bank of India will be the exclusive agent for booking the Tata Nano. Mr. Jayanta Kumar Sinha, chief general manager SBI, indicated that the formal announcement on this will be made in 15-20 days.

In a press conference Mr. Sinha announced that the bank will be the sole booking agent for the Nano. SBI already has an auto loan financing scheme with Tata Motors.
